1 PURAVIDABRASIL Nature Camp We are located at the north of the Island, at the very begin of Lagoa da Conceição, nearby Moçambique Beach, our beach! All together there are 42 beaches along the island totally immersed at the Rain Forest “Mata Atlântica”, one of the biggest biodiversity in the PLANET. 2 Moçambique Beach Mocambique beach also popularly known as the “Great Beach” since it is the longest beach in Florianopolis over 7 km. Mocambique beach is a magnificent piece of natural wonder with crystal clear waters and breathtaking views with a backdrop of mountains. Add to this the tranquillity it offers compared to other beaches of Florianopolis which are heavily crowded. The locals too are very hassle free and affectionate adding more fun to the experience. One of the best beaches of Florianopolis for surfing!! 3 Barra da Lagoa Barra da Lagoa is a quaint fisherman's village but the physical characteristics of the beach make it the perfect place to learn to surf. It is a cove on the Eastern part of the island and stretchs into Moçambique beach for 15 kilometres. The canal at Barra da Lagoa connects the Lagoa de Conceição. 4 Galheta Beach Praia de Galheta is a popular destination with naturists since the 1970’s as it allows nudity although it is not must. The beach is also popular with surfers as it gets reasonably good waves which is consistent throughout the year. The beach has no restaurants sticking to its title of naturist’s beach although there is a water fountain providing fresh water to drink. With plenty of beautiful nude Brazilians to see, nice and clear waters Praia da Galheta is definitely one of the best beaches of Florianopolis. . 5 Mole Beach Getting its name from the mole (soft), pink sand that carpets the beach, Praia Mole is the most popular and fashionable beach on the island. Is where the young and beautiful people meet. It’s perfect for surfing and its rough waters make it inappropriate for children to swim. There is no lack of refreshments, as there are numerous beach bars all along the interior of the beach, and many offer showers for washing off. Video Praia Mole 6 Joaquina Beach That is certainly one o the best structured beaches for the tourists, with toilets, shower, many restaurants and a great variety of sports such as surfing, sand boarding, beach soccer, beach volleyball and many other. 7 Campeche Island If you get a boat at the Barra da Lagoa Pier, you will be able to find an ecological reserve protected by a local fisherman association just one mile away from the coast. In this island you can walk through paths covered by rainforest, watch a great variety of birds and also see rock paintings more than 4,000 year old! The beach in this island has crystalline water that makes it perfect for snorkeling and also swimming. 8 Lagoinha do Leste If you love nature and hiking, this is the perfect beach for you. There no way to get to “Lagoinha do Leste” by car. By boat its surf makes it tough to go to the shore. The best way to get there is on foot. It´s not a difficult way, but it is quiet a long walk on a lovely rainforest where you can find some wild animals and beautiful plants. 9 Lagoa do Peri The Municipal Park's Lagoon Peri is located in the region southeast of the island of Santa Catarina, inserted into one of the last remnants of Atlantic Forest. Com cerca de 20 km2 o Parque abriga a maior lagoa de água doce da costa catarinense, que totaliza uma área de 5 km2. With about 20 km2 the Park houses the largest freshwater lake of Santa Catarina coast, which totals an area of 5 km2. A Lagoa do Peri foi tombada como Patrimônio Natural em junho de 1976, sendo o Parque Municipal da Lagoa do Peri criado e regulamentado no período de 1981 a 1982, com os objetivos de: proteger os recursos naturais; resgatar a cultura açoriana; criar um espaço de ação, educação e investigação ambiental na cidade e conciliar a proteção ambiental como adequado aproveitamento do potencial natural e paisagístico do Parque. 10 International Airport Hercilio Luz Florianopolis is served by the "Hercilio Luz International Airport" (code FLN). It has some of Brazil's most beautiful beaches. 12 Lagoa da Conceição From the top of the “Moro da Lagoa” (Lagoa Hill) there is a beautiful panoramic view of Conceição Lagoon, the largest in town, connected with the sea by a canal that makes its waters salty. In the south there is also a fresh water lake named Peri Lagoon, which is located above the sea level and it is surrounded by native Atlantic Forest. 13 Jurere International Near the city of Floripa itself, developments like Jurere International offer housing of the highest standard that is at par with property in the best resorts in the US or Europe. 14 Brava Beach This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the island.
